Executive leaders and leadership teams have to meet the challenge of not only leading effectively but also role modelling these behaviours and practices they wish to be replicated in the remainder of the organisation. As social work organisations effectively integrate systemic principles in their operative environments executive teams are facing the question to what extent they too can and should embrace systemic leadership practices in the interest of organisational coherence and sustainability of the change they are leading.
